This month launches the first days of spring, and the Greater Tampa Bay Area is alive with wonderful spring activities and events popping up across our region.  Here is a sampling of different festivals, shows, markets, and spring events happening around our area.

Spring 2019 Events and Festivals

  • Tampa Home & Garden Show, Tampa Convention Center (March 23-24): This consumer show will include home and garden exhibits featuring the latest trends for 2019. Homeowners can plan to spend their day browsing everything from home improvement products, to interior design exhibits, to garden displays, and more. See local event listings for more information.
  • Food & Wine Festival, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (Weekends through April 28): This fifth annual spring festival provides fun and fantastic food for locals and tourists alike. Get a global taste of signature dishes and wine each weekend at one of the best adventure parks in the world, which happens to be in our own backyard.   • Tampa Bay Seafood & Music Festival, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park (April 26-28): Enjoy live music and scrumptious seafood in downtown Tampa at the second annual Seafood & Music Festival. See local event listings in the coming weeks for more information about music line-ups and food vendors.
  • Downtown Saturday Morning Market, St. Petersburg (Saturdays through May 25): Enjoy this relaxing fresh market on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through May 25 at Al Lang Stadium’s parking lot in downtown St. Petersburg. Browse farmer booths and find fresh produce, gourmet delights, crafts, plants, and more. Visit http://saturdaymorningmarket.com/ for more information.
  • Operation Helping Hand Monthly Dinner (Third Thursdays Monthly): Don’t forget to consider ways to help local nonprofits this season. For example, Operation Helping Hand hosts a monthly dinner on the third Thursday of every month at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.  Operation Helping Hand is a nonprofit providing support for the families of wounded and injured active-duty military.
