Tampa Bay Trends for Halloween 2022

– Tampa Bay Trends for Halloween 2022 –

In the Greater Tampa Bay Area, we have great events and trends for Halloween 2022. Local homeowners are either going all in, or all out. Considering both ends of the spectrum, our professional real estate team has ideas customized for different preferences.

Whether staying safe at home to avoid scary frights, or you are wanting to go out for thrills at night, consider these local trends for a Tampa Bay Halloween.

  • HOMEOWNERS STAYING IN FOR HALLOWEEN:

With Halloween 2022 falling on a Monday, many Tampa area homeowners will plan an evening at home to pass out candies to neighborhood children. Countless kids will partake in the annual tradition of Trick-or-Treating at dusk in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties.

For homecooked fun, consider indulging in treats of your own. Roast pumpkin seeds from your carved jack-o-lanterns, pop popcorn, or perhaps make some dark-chocolate covered nuts or berry clusters to snack on while watching your favorite scary movie. In addition to Monday Night Football, many classic horror flicks will be broadcasted and streamed all of Halloween night.

Also, why not put a costume on for the evening? Trick-or-treaters love collecting candy from witches and warlocks. Plus, you can snap a photo to share on your social networks. In addition to classics like vampires and zombies, 2022’s costume trends will range from Squid Game and Bridgerton characters to this year’s headline-making politicians.

  • TAMPA LOCALS GOING OUT ON THE TOWN:

With Halloween bar crawls scheduled as well as creepy crawly adventures at local zoos, the Tampa community will be going all out for Halloween.  Hot spots in our coastal communities and throughout central Florida are planning big events and attractions. Here are a few of your Halloween Weekend options spanning the Tampa Bay region:

  • Dunedin’s Downtown Trick-Or-Treat: Starting at 5 p.m. Oct. 28
  • Creatures of the Night at Zoo Tampa: Starting at 4 p.m. Oct. 28 and 29
  • Wesley Chapel Fall Festival: Starting at 11 a.m. Oct. 29 and 30
