Fourth of July celebrations in the Bay area seem to get a little bigger, louder and tastier each year. Here’s a sampling of some of the more popular events. However you plan to celebrate our country’s adoption of the Declaration of Independence back in 1776, be safe, have fun and leave the fireworks to the pros.

Starship Cruiser Fireworks Cruise

Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th in Tampa & Clearwater. 603 Channelside Drive, Tampa and 25 Causeway Blvd. Slip 55, Clearwater.

Channelside Bay Plaza Celebrates the Fourth

This festive, family friendly event begins with live music and food trucks at 5pm in Channelside Plaza.The fireworks will kick off at 9 p.m. right on the water and parking is available at the garage across from the complex.

Busch Gardens Fireworks on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th

Take a walk on the wild side at Busch Gardens this weekend, where you can enjoy thrilling rides and fireworks each night starting on July 2nd. The crowd favorite Kinetix acrobatic show begins at 9pm and fireworks start right after the show. Kinetix is sure to get your heart pumping, so come take in the excitement at Gwazi Field.

Fireworks Across the Bay, Saturday, July 4th

Watch the fireworks from most of the waterfront parks in St. Pete, starting at 9pm. Don’t forget to check the weather conditions, which may change the start time. This event is free!

Red, White & Zoo Holiday Weekend July 3-5th from 9:30 – 5pm

In the spirit of honoring those who’ve sacrificed everything for us, members of the military including active-duty, retirees and veterans, and three direct dependents will receive free admission to the zoo, with a valid military photo ID.
