For 2023, Tampa Bay’s Memorial Day events range from community festivals to special ceremonies to honor our fallen soldiers. Our Florida real estate team believes in honoring U.S. veterans and active military service members every day, but Memorial Day brings even greater significance and opportunities to appreciate our American freedoms.
Importantly, wherever you choose to spend the weekend, we hope you will take time to remember the sacrifices of our military. Below you’ll find a few events being planned around Tampa Bay.
4 Activities for Memorial Day Weekend 2023
- Downtown Saturday Morning Market (May 27):
St. Petersburg’s fresh market will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be St. Pete’s final Saturday Morning Market of the season at Al Lang Stadium’s parking lot. Produce, plants, crafts, and more will be available. - Tampa Bay Margarita and Music Festival (May 27):
Once again, Tampa’s annual Margarita and Music Festival will be held at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park. Enjoy music, entertainment, and beverages. Visit event site for ticket information. - Bay Pines VA Memorial Day Ceremony (May 29):
Join the community at 10 a.m. for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg. Local dignitaries and VA representatives invite the community for this special ceremony. Visit baypines.va.gov for official information. - American Legion (May 29):
Also, many American Legion locations will host special events. For example, the 90th annual Memorial Day Service will be held at 10:45 a.m. at the American Legion Post 5, located at 3810 W. Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa.
